I did it. My book, The Reason..., is officially out in the world, and I’m still pinching myself.
This book has lived in my heart for a long time. I wrote it for my clients, my family, my friends, and everyone I’ve met who has struggled in their relationships. In my work as a relationship psychotherapist, I keep seeing the same thing: good, loving, capable people caught in patterns they can’t quite see and can’t seem to escape. This book is my way of reaching more of you than I ever could in the therapy room.
Does this sound familiar?
You’ve loved. You’ve lost. You’ve given second chances. And yet, here you are again, wondering why it never works out.
The same questions keep circling: What have I done to deserve this? Why does this keep happening to me? Will I be on my own forever?
Maybe you’ve lost faith in relationships and, most painfully, in yourself. Your confidence has slipped, your self-esteem feels shattered, and trust is hard to come by.
And if one more person tells you “everything happens for a reason,” you might just scream.
What the book is about
The Reason... is a companion for anyone navigating the hidden patterns that can make relationships feel confusing or painful. Through relatable stories and insights, it helps you recognise the traps, pitfalls and triggers before they catch you, offering clarity, understanding and hope for your healing journey.
It’s an invitation to come home to yourself. To raise your awareness with radical acceptance, and to finally break free from the unhealthy patterns that have kept you stuck. Most of all, it’s about rebuilding trust in the most important relationship you’ll ever have: the one with yourself.
Because what if the answer you’ve been searching for was never outside of you? What if The Reason was always within you, patiently waiting to be seen, heard and chosen?
Maybe, just maybe... you are The Reason.
